Catch up too!!

I got really behind too! And i felt the same way you did. I was like "oh nooo! now i have to read, like eight chapters in Isaiah... that book is SO hard!" and then, just like that, I was sucked in, and it didn't drag on at all. There was so many superb verses.

September 28:
Ephesians 6:2-3, 6:7-8, 6:10-1

"Honor your mother and father -which is the first commandment with a promise- that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth"

"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free"

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. STAND FIRM!"

September 29

Isaiah 58:8

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call and the lord will answer, you will cry for help and the Lord will answer "I am here"

September 30

Isaiah 61:10-13

"I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations"

*Oh my! I just LOVE Philippians! I'm pretty sure its my favorite Book of the Bible :D

Philippians 1:30
"If you have any encouragement form being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing our of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others"

October 1
Isaiah 63:8-63:17

"Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter, we are all the work of your hands"

"Behold I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy"

"never again will there be in it a infant who lives but a few days, or an old mad who does not love out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought mere youth"

Psalm 73:26-29
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever... I have made my sovereign Lord my refuge"
